   Contingency Plan Part I:

Each individual grade level must increase in all related content areas of District Assessments by at least 10% from the October testing to the end of the year testing.

Each individual grade must meet 75% passing standard for their grade level:  PPCD – 5th grade.  Teachers must return to the campus for the 2008-09 school years, unless for reasons of retirement, health issues, promotion, transfer within district, spouse transfer out of county and/or death in the family.

Teachers/staff must meet at least once per month to discuss student performance and lesson plans.

If a grade level or staff member does not meet the above criteria, remaining monies will be equally distributed among 75% percentage group.

*** According to the Commissioner’s rules concerning the Governor’s Educator Excellence Award program each individual incentive should be no less than $3,000.00 and no more than $10,000.00 per teacher to the extent practicable. Due to our campus staff size of certified teachers who teach students daily in an academic setting that exceeds 4 hours, an award of $3,000.00 to $10,000.00 is not practicable for our campus because it would exclude over 50% of our eligible staff.

Part II:  Funds under Part II (no less than 25% of the total grant allocation) may be used to award personnel     who have contributed to increase student achievement (but are not eligible for Part I Funds).
