The afterschool book club started last year by the Librarian Ms. Sivil. Students and teachers were invited to join. The book club meets once a month in the library from 3:30 p.m to 5:00 p.m. During this program, students discuss the book that they read and then get a new book. The goal of the program is for students to become better readers and nurture a love for reading. There are 37 students in the book club. Students have read Among the Hidden by Margaret Haddix and Inkheart by Cornelia Funke.
