Volleyball Spikes Up a New Season

One of the sports that NSMS athletes like to play is volleyball. The 8th grade team has 26 players and a seventh grade team has 29 players. The 7th grade White Team captains are: Erin Hill and Alyssa Solis.  The seventh grade Red Team captain is: McKenzie Rogel. The 8th grade White Team captains are:  Brilliante Osborne and Jessica Garza. The Eighth grade red team captains are: Tiffany Carr and Keylantra Taylor.

 The volleyball games are every Thursday, and some are on Saturday. All of the volleyball coaches at North Shore Middle are proud of the athletes that play volleyball. Coach Keen stated, “All of my athletes are trying their hardest to be their best.” Coach Wait said, “the girls have already learned so much and I’m so excited.” “The kind of qualities I look for in an athlete is someone who is willing to work hard,” explained Coach Keen. Their goal for this year, as it always been the past few years, is to see the girls improve from the beginning to the end of the year.
