TAKS TESTING

April 28-May 2, 2008

Tips for helping your child succeed:

1. Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep, 7-8 hours.

2. Leave the backpack, cell phone & other electronic devices at home.

3. Please do not schedule doctor appointments or plan to check out your child on testing days.

4. Please do not bring a sack lunch to school on testing days.

Lunch will be provided on testing day. Students are allowed to bring a lunch from home, however lunches dropped off from home will not be delivered as it disrupts testing.

5. Encourage your child as they leave for school!

New Teachers were welcomed to North Shore by Principal Drexler and Assistant Principals Cotton, Pickens, Griffith and new AP Ms. Sandra Rios and new Math Specialist Ms. Angie Williams. After pledges and a briefing by staff, new teachers were transported to their next training site: the bowling ally.
