Kroger Delivers Tons of School Supplies

Houston, Texas: Today, Kroger’s warehouse drivers delivered tons of school supplies to GPISD for the academic year. Through the Backpack Booster collection drive, many of our students will have school supplies to start the year. Kroger and community partners collected $263,838 for school supplies to be divided between KIPP and Alief, Galena Park, Houston, Humble and Klein ISDs.

“We are thankful to our customers, employees and partners for joining us to make this collection program a success,” says Joy Partain, public affairs manager for Kroger. “Through our collaborative effort, thousands of children in our region will return to school prepared, focused and ready to learn.”

We would like to thank Kroger for partnering with us to help benefit GPISD students.
