Badie, Chaisson and Coach Kay Nominees for Touchdown Club of Houston

Houston, Texas: On December 5, the Touchdown Club of Houston announced their annual high school nominees for Coach of the Year, Offensive Player the Year and Defense Player of the Year award. Galena Park ISD is proud to announce that North Shore has a nominee in each of the categories.

Coach John Kay has been nominated for Coach of the Year, Bryant Badie for Offensive Player of the Year and K’Lavon Chaission for Defense Player of the Year. 
Coach Kay has been the head coach for North Shore for the past two years and led the Mustangs to the State Championship title last year.

Badie, in his first year as starting quarterback, has also received the High School Player of the Week award from Root Sports and Ironman Sports Medicine Institute and Greater Houston Area Honda Dealers Player of the Week.

Chaisson, the basketball player turned football star, has been selected to play in the upcoming Under Armour All-America Football Game in January.
The nominees will be honored on December 14 at the J.W. Marriott in the Galleria.
