Galena Park ISD Students Come Together for Multimedia Festival
Houston, Texas: Galena Park ISD’s Technology Department hosted its 15th Annual Multimedia Festival on Thursday, March 5th. Approximately 450 students from grades K-12th celebrated their hard work and accomplishments by showing off technology projects.
During the festival, students were able to interact with the coding projects and robots, which were demonstrated by Team Robotics from Galena Park High School. Medals were handed to students for their excellent performance in the following multimedia project categories: coding, graphic design, choice challenge and 3D digital modeling. This year’s contest medals were designed by Samantha Chimene, a student at Cunningham Middle School.
The Multimedia Festival is a team effort and would not be successful without the help and support of GPISD parents, teachers, administrators, cabinet members, board members, North Shore Senior High, Galena Park High School and the GPISD technology team.
