Normandy Crossing Elementary Teacher Named Classroom Champ

Houston, Texas: On October 18, Normandy Crossing Elementary (NCE) teacher, Ms. Angel Herring, was named a Classroom Champ by the Houston Dynamo and Kroger.
Ms. Herring was one of five educators named a Classroom Champ for making a profound difference on their campus. She received a $250 gift card from Kroger and a $250 grant for NCE.

On Sunday, October 22, Ms. Herring was recognized at the Dynamo game for her hard work and dedication!

During Ms. Herring's introduction, Eddie Robinson, former Dynamo player, said, "Ms. Herring takes rookie teachers under her wing and teaches them the finer points of caring for their children, not just educationally but socially and emotionally, as well. We thank her so much for that."
