Galena Park High School Crowns Homecoming Queen and King
Houston, Texas: On Friday night, October 20, Galena Park High School held their homecoming game against Santa Fe.
During halftime, Sheila Alvares and Lloyd Simon were announced as the 2017 Homecoming King and Queen. Alvares enjoys volunteering at the Food Bank and spends much of her time reading. She plans on attending San Jacinto College and will transfer to the University of Houston to become a veterinarian. Simon is president of FFA and raises cows, pigs and chickens. He plans to attend Texas A&M or Tarleton State University to pursue a degree in animal science.
This week, the Yellowjackets will take on Galveston Ball at the Galveston ISD Stadium at 7 p.m.
