Welcome to the Superintendent’s Corner! I am Dr. Angi Williams, Superintendent of Schools for the Galena Park Independent School District. It is my honor to work with the students, staff, and parents of this wonderful community. Throughout my 28 years in this district, I have been fortunate to serve as counselor, assistant principal, principal, Assistant Superintendent for School/Community Relations, and Deputy Superintendent for Educational Support. With each passing year in the field of education, the outstanding academic growth and success of our students enriches my life. These achievements give reason for all of us to celebrate the triumphs of our current and former students!
Walking through the halls of our beautiful schools, I see quality instruction, counselors and nurses caring for students’ well-being, and administrators welcoming parents. All of these demonstrate to me Galena Park I.S.D. is truly a unique community with a common goal focused on students. Understanding that, we will strive to maintain the most effective curriculum, a caring professional staff, and opportunities for success for all students.
