Displaced Student - Registration Information

If your family lost housing and is now sheltered at an alternate location, or you are providing shelter for a displaced family from another school district, please know these students have rights provided by the McKinney-Vento Act which allows for several school options.

If you are a current GPISD family who has been displaced, or you are providing shelter for a family with school-aged children, we ask you to report to your child's campus to update your address, register new students, and allow us to assist you with the paperwork and provide helpful information.

We look forward to seeing all of our students and families back soon, and as always, please let us know how we can further assist you.
