GREAT GRANT. Students and teachers at WAMS will be using wireless laptop computers to enhance learning. WAMS received a $650,000 federal grant, which is part of a two-year study will purchase nearly 480 computers. A component of the grant will measure student improvement and performance. Students will learn proper email techniques and they will have internet access for academic purposes. The computers should be installed in October.
