NEIGHBORS AGAINST CRIME. Community leaders, law enforcement officials
and educators turned out for National Night Out. This annual event
is designed to generate support for local anticrime programs, heighten
drug and violence prevention awareness, and strengthen neighborhood
and police partnerships. Nationally, nearly 33.3 million people participated
