ANT EXPERIMENT. Seventh grader Kristina Mann won best in show in the North Shore Middle School Science Fair. Mann’s project – What Flavor Most Attracts Ants – competed against other seventh and eighth grade students in several categories including physics, chemistry, biology and the environment. Mann concluded that ants are most attracted to bread covered with a sugar solution.
