HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. SEUSS. Students at Woodland Acres Elementary joined millions of their peers across the country to celebrate the joy of reading while celebrating Dr. Seuss’ 99th birthday. Galena Park High School freshman Nancy Guzman took park in the celebration by reading to A Dr. Seuss book to several students. Guest readers from the community took part in reading books like Cat in the Hat, Sam I Am, and Hooray for Diffendoofer Day. Like Guzman, many of the guest readers donned Dr. Seuss style hats as part of the lesson.
