GPISD STUDENTS HONOR COMMISSIONER GARCIA. The Cobb 6th Grade Campus in GPISD hosted the East Harris County Youth Program’s musical tribute to Commissioner Sylvia Garcia. Students from nearby school districts including Galena Park, Goose Creek, Crosby and Pasadena took part in proclaiming Garcia “A Commissioner For All People.” The students donned masks and sang songs about a multicultural society working together as a team to achieve their goals.
