MATH IN THE MAKING. Galena Park High School students Julian Garza, sophomore, and Erika Salinas, freshman, put the finishing touches on a tetrahedron kite. The kite was created as part of a Geometry Pre-AP class. Students apply geometry equations to the construction of each kite and determine why the kite does or does not fly.
