HISTORY COMES ALIVE. Normandy Crossing Elementary second grade student Taylor Netherly took part in a wax museum project and became a "wax statue" for a day. As her classmates made their way through the museum hallway, they pushed a button and Netherly came to life to educate them about Mae Jemison - the first African American female in space.
