Texans Cheerleader of the Week !

             Congratulations to Galena Park ISD's own Terri Hernandez who was recently honored on the Houston Texans website as the Texans Cheerleader of the Week! She was named Cheerleader of the Week for October 3-10.
             Terri was a Jacketeer at GPHS and graduated in 2000. She then attended the University of Houston and was a member of the Cougar Dolls dance team and is now the assistant director of the Jacketeers. This is Terri's third year as a member of the Houston Texans cheerleaders. Terri's mother, Norma, is the registrar at GPHS and her father, Raul, is the head custodian at Galena Park ISD Stadium.
             Terri's younger sister, Cathy, is a 2005 graduate of Galena Park High School and currently dances for the Cougar Dolls.
